How to add Discount Coupons?
When it comes to increasing the conversion rate and reducing the shopping cart abandonment rate, discount coupons can play a major role. The Windo platform offers you the feature to generate and add coupons. Customers can apply one discount coupon per order. Every time a coupon is applied at the checkout page, the amount is automatically deducted from the subtotal. It means before the taxes and shipping charges are included.
Generating discount coupons on Windo is not just easy but quick too. Here is how to do it:
Go to “Settings” and scroll down to ‘Customers & Marketing’. Alternatively, you can also search for it in the Settings Search field.
Now, click on the discount coupon icon and then click on the “Create Coupon” button.
Next, you need to select the type of coupon you want to generate, i.e. either a flat discount type or a percentage discount coupon.
Next, you need to add details like your coupon code, the flat discount value of your coupon, and the minimum order value.
You can also add other details like whether the coupon is applicable for all the items in your store or only for some selected items. Finally, click on the “Add Products” button to add the products on which you want to offer a discount.
How to customize the coupon further? Well, you can do these things:
You can set a user limit for your coupon, i.e. the number of users that can use it.
You can select the payment mode on which the coupon will be applicable.
You can set an expiration date for your coupon.
You can also include a description of the coupon.
Please note that if you are selecting percentage as the coupon type then you can add a discount percentage instead of a flat discount value. In this case, you have to set a maximum discount value.
