Add Google Analytics

Connecting Google Analytics to an online store/business is incredibly useful for sellers. This impressive tool allows sellers to track and analyze numerous metrics related to their online store’s performance, such as the number of visitors, their behavior, and the source of traffic. Such metrics help sellers in making data-driven decisions to improve their user experience and optimize their marketing campaigns. On Windo, Google Analytics can be added in minutes.

Follow these steps to connect GOOGLE ANALYTICS with your online store:

  • Login to your Windo account.

  • Go to Settings.

  • Scroll down to Plugins & Integrations.

  • Go to Google Analytics and click on Connect.

  • Add Google Property ID in the given text field and save changes.

To connect your Google Analytics Property ID to your store, follow these steps:

  • Login to Google Analytics account.

  • Create a new property for your store website if you haven’t done it already.

  • Click on Add Property to create an account.

  • Add the property name (Shop’s Name) and Currency.

  • After filling details, click on Next.

  • Add your business information, and select Web as the platform to collect data.

  • Add your Shop URL and Name. Then, click on Create Stream.

  • On the next page, copy Measurement ID.

  • Go back to Windo and paste the copied ID.

  • Click on Save to save it.

  • Once the changes are saved, you can cross-check whether you are getting data or not.

  • Go to dashboard and click on View Shop.

  • Go to your shop and login.

  • Now, go back to Google Analytics and click Home. You will be able to see data there.
